a day in the life of wayne ward….

Ive uploaded my acpi directory to my donloads folder for the asus 701 Eee. I made a slight mod to it to make the machine sleep when you close the lid!! I use kde 3.5.9 with kpowersave and it works great

If you get into your etc directory and as root
mv acpi acpi.bak
and then
tar xvzf acpi.tar.gz

either restart the asus or
/etc/init.d/acpid restart

Bingo!!
