used a few clipboard managers now for ubuntu but i have to say diodon has to be the one i prefer and im sticking with! its light-weight and once i run it once it starts at log on. preferences are very straightforward and not to busy. give it a go..

ive tried a few with ubuntu 12.10 i like copq because its easy to install and it has a icon that sticks out to the eye and its very configurable! give it a go! get a terminal and do this sudo add-apt-repository ppa:samrog131/ppa sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get install copyq
