Just found a quality free little app for making images the correct file size – shrinks them from like 4meg to under a meg just drag and drop and specify a output folder easy
its called smallimage2 – anyway took a look at the snow leopard link on the site and this app dont work on snow leopard – damn im getting that this weekend 
now i got to go on the search again till it get re coded

Just finished my triple boot machine – dual booting etc is usually but hackintosh ubuntu and windows can be trick with boot loaders so done in the right sequence and using chemeleon for the boot loader seems the right way – take a look at this blog for instructions

was woke at 9.30 by the gardner :-O on a sunday morning!! nooooo! i didnt mind him saying ill be round for eleven i was thinking nice time for me to get up on a sunday morning but 9.30!! why? sod it i stayed in bed and sent our jake down with some $$$ for the poor guy

pea and ham soup for breakfast ?? yes bloody odd but it was lunchtime and couldnt be arsed making bacon etc etc… went for rehearsal late as usual with promethium which i got moaned at later on by dan but fraser was like well later than me so eat shit and die dan. Very good rehearsal maybe we bloomed a little today… the new song had errrr energy and soul and made you want to errr twat someone!!! lol didnt make me want a spray tan though ey fraser… mmm… went to visit my mate for a while and whipped home to get our lass up after her sleep in after working nights ..
the planes we usually have over the morecambe bay never came because of the winds from the east… usually get the red arrows and the lancaster bomber but hey the old ford cortina group showed up !! ha ha had a few phone calls regarding some shite that some one stirred up thats got nothing to do with me and only to do with one selfish person and i know that because i was in the same boat not so long ago and the faster they wake up and face the music the better its all good doing what you do to make yourself feel better but sometimes you just have to look at the bigger picture to make yourself well again we all have shit to deal with its how we deal with it – but hey thats another story im just so lucky thats all i can say
chilled for a hour and dan turned up so dropped fiona off and went to the bobbin for a few beers – playing pool and watched scuzz the guy who was looking after the show on scuzz was sporting a from the ashes T shirt which is a metal band from lancaster which I really like and we all had a cheer! including sean one of the members from the band! good times I hope the lads all the best! was going to order food from a restaurant close by but its to darn expensive even with the 10% discount for take away.. so ordered from another place close by and got food half the price well £12 and enough food to feed four hungry bellies
used my new toy playback which cost me ten quid install it on my mac and share all the films – photos and music to my PS3 across the network – worked awsome and it streamed my movies in 5.1 !!! best ten quid i spent on a computer in ages!! saying that im getting snow leopard this week at £25 for a upgrade!!! now thats value for money!! i watched the killing of john lennon – 5/10 could have been better. Now in bed on my mac book pro very tired and ready for a mad week of computers and websites ! Still no business partners on the horizon but im thinking of sacking that now and just getting fired in now sick of people who are just not prepared to put there full into it – its here for the taking so i guess i just have to leave ya all behind i gave the chances – times up.
just hope i can afford to pay to keep my lights on at work !!! because when you cant afford that you know your a failure

I noticed on the part were you enter your username if i put the njs.netlab.cz on the end it failed so i just entered my desired username and that worked!!
ive been using quamana for a while now for blogging it cuts it but doesnt look good as its a java proggie :-O
so im just testing blogo which is native mac program so looks cool – nice easy interface ill let you know how it pans out over the week

Just made my first joomla template with artisteer for total care and im well happy with the results!!! looks pretty darn good just got to get out my £70 and pay for the software this week – although it is welcome I hate downloading templates
Snow leoaprd is available £25 for a updgrade single licence or £40 odd for a family pack so might as well get the five user licence!!! 64 bit power on a mac !! awsome more power……..

Im just testing daylite for mac osx again – quiet a nice system that can be run on a single machine or networked and accessed from external devices such as iphones and ipod touch..
The daylite ystem keeps all your contacts – tasks – projects – opportunities – calendar notes and reminders all in one neat package on the mac. Its very geared towards corporates and it is a very rich bit of kit! The install and setup i must say was a breeze! I downloaded the server package and the daylite install dmgs – you only need the daylite install dmg for a single machine and install the server if you plan to network or connect over the internet with your iphone..
Anyway I started bt installing the server on my mac server took like half a minute then i installed the main daylite package.
I opened up daylite and ran through the wizard asked me my name address etc and a username and password then aked me to pick for a selection of industries or just a blank template database – so opions being photography or real estate – i picked general and then it logged in cool up and running!! – i went into my ical and created three calendars for it to sync with for now work / band / personal – then i went into preferences in daylite and picked sharing and indicated i wanted it to sync with them calendars and that i wanted to create a group in my mac address book called daylite were i can choose who i want to sync entries in my addressbook to be added to daylite and not the whole lot of my address book because believe me some of my mates i would never think twice of doing business with!!! Bingo add a entry into either daylite or my ical or address book they appear in each program!!
Next i went into the server database admin program and turned told it which database to share on the network and turned on sharing with the big share button ! easy – (this part is for external iphone connection!) then went to network and put in my external ip address and told it to route the ports for me which is does using upnp!! so no port forwarding in the firewall – but one thing you have to keep the server admin program open if you dont forward the ports manually so i will port the ports – it tells you the three ports to forward in so make sure your box has a fixed ip to make it more reliable!! pull across the big button saying share again and hey presto !! shared on the network and to the internet !!! easy done in like 5 mins!! also inside the server admin you add licences for addons and setup periodic back ups for the database!!! awsome..
So i next installed the daylite install on my laptop and connected straight in after i dropped the firewall so will have to add rules for my local connections to be allowed straight on – all the data shared no problems!!
Next went to the iphone installed the ap through app store – started it up – put in my ip address and username and password – it downloaded the data and im in!!! I can see all the data in need to in daylite plus i can add data and sync with the main database!!! works a treat!! £35 for the year for the iphone app!!! not bad really!!
Its looking like £839 for 5 users and about £130 for one user which is very good really – if your a one man band with a mac daylite + server + the iphone app is like £165 and your away!! great value – i notice they have cut down version for £99 which doesnt have the mail intergration etc – its worth a look
My only problem …. all my calendars and contacts are synced with google so nowadays the contacts aint a problem as the mac syncs contacts with google out of the box!!.. now my calendars in ical just connect to google but will daylite see the data on the google calendars?? nope! is the answer – there is no way around this im afraid at the monment apart from one i downloaded spanning sync which let me create a standard ical calendar and then get that to sync with google calendar!! easy install quick setup and about £35 out of my back pocket! plus it does other syncing which i havent used just the calendar stuff which works a treat as its syncing every 15 mins in the background no problem!!!!
Also if you look at the marketcirle site for this app take a look at billings for the mac for £30 nice easy billings program very easy to setup and use and ties into your address book etc and makes very pro looking invoices!!
