well popped out saturday to watch my mates band in ma’ murpheys ony when i got to the gig it wasnt them as they was at the battery! ha the band were’nt bad doing new stuff killers and muse just lacked harmonies and the guitar wasnt loud enough…. stayed for a pint and went and met sme of the lads but one of em was pissed and was starting fights so i jumped a taxi home so that was a total waste of time!! so decided to do sunday instead! went to see the citizens band at the park hotel and they sounded bloody well good time served musicians ! then popped down to ma murpheys again to watch the bottle necks but 24/7 were on and the bottle necks had been on during the day and there had also been bands on at the three mariners lancaster! the problem is we need one person to advertise the events for everything around here instead of all the indaviduals who are having a damn good go but just not cutting it as covering every thing is a damn hard job… although i think ron johnson does a damn good job on lunve valley site!! and im waiting for enigma entertainments to launch as they say they are going to cover all the events……
just doing a review of tyre suppliers in the area after trying to buy two new tyres for the range and not getting much luck so i will blog this next…. cant get the staff!?…
well ive put all seeking musicians on hold for a week or so as ive got a audition with a touring band playing big venues – ill be playing guitar for a change and some lead and backing vocals! about time i got a break ill keep you posted but at least it means i wont have to play round here! although i do like a jam on a sunday with my bezzzzi m8 dan and the boys!!
so looking forward to my partner coming from the states and going to see denny laine at the cavern i cant sleep at night! ha – apart from that work is good – my playin is good – life is real good.

dont forget i love you all even the people have nowt better to do than cause trouble on facebook! i stilll love you – we are put on this planet once i dont hold grudges ha!….

oh while i remember a few people been coming up to me saying i had left natural thing to go to the dark side! thats not true if you want to know thw truth just ask me – i was playing in a band called promethium which i did some studio session work with which i enjoyed and i must say the band didnt either jealousy or just pure stupidness ive no idea ask em?.. but anyway i was playing with them still when i left NT – im not now they have a bass player – i never intended to stay with them im still mates with them and if they require me to do any studio sessions again or live gigs i will – so people should either stop talking shit and get there facts right – oh and i do know who started the little bit of bullshit! sad! i never thought he was lie that aswell
any way good name for a band though “the dark side” you might just need to tweak your intelligence a bit and channel it into improving your work maybe?!! ha ha sad
like i say i just laughed this off – anyhow enough ranting back to some shredding
im getting to A1 qualities on the guitar – dedication

Just sat taking a day off listening to some new music that i got this week then im going to take a hour on the strat it got restrung the other night and just sounds awsome with some new ones on here is my old step by step re-string

• remove old strings
• polish guitar
• polish frets
• tighten all loose screws
• put on new strings
• tune
• stretch strings
• re-tune
• check 12 fret tuning
• cut strings to size @ headstock
• sorted

that was sooooo gay

anyway bit sick i had to work yesterday instead of being at my mates wedding – at least i can take the suit back and get my dosh back ha ha
just looking at some tyres for the range rover – expensive but what the hell its not every day you can ride so hight – quality vehicle
got some new clients onboard this week – some good companies and some really nice people from out of town – really worked my ass of but its all good im not complaining means i spend some more money on ebay! ha ha
the band stuff is looking good – im glad to be going back out with jimmy in revival – we have gigs coming up… watch this space..
the band im putting together is looking good im just struggling for the front man which yes may take me a while but i want to shock this little town before i take this band to the places all musos round here want a piece of…
just got my registration doc back finally means i get my personal plate fired on – get some new plates made for the rangie and the caravan and not to forget the trailer !! hell change my middle name to tommy! ha ha!

works good on iphone out of the bx – got me a local number for free!
Im pretty certain i can get a sip client that will register multiple sip numbers – virtual office…

Anyway busy as hell with work – worked in kendal 2day and maybe 2morro — got a few more sites in – shit hot
booked tickets for me and our lass and my partner fred and his lass for level 42 concert – looking forward to freds visit from the USA and going on our road trip from lancaster -> liverpool -> london!!! stopping in some of the finest hotels in the UK !!! amazing

feeling a tad ill today bit odd im usually pretty cool
but i got up and got fired just try and keep things moving
just finished a site and start a new one in the morning
thinkin of goin to see my bezzi m8 2morro and get away from here for a hour or so!
just so damn busy to find time to do anything nowadays.
Relly got to be careful who i write to now and talk to as i can see people still want trouble with me which is damn shame cause i just forgot all about it and them – but hey ho im all good and all is fine i have no issues. watched some bloody good films tonight – taken was great watch it gripping right till the end and the usual happy ending…
although i have to say eden lake was bloody disturbing and quiet a horrible ending !! left me with no nails!! go on watch it…. i have to say bloody gripping.
Getting great compliments for the work for lancaster computers and jake is doing very well ive promised to take him to see muse in manchester if he keeps om learning – very very proud.

snowed under and working saturday and sunday – damn?! cant complain

well i did a devious soul machine reunion gig saturday night
all i can say i miss playing with such quality musicians
the feeling is great – we played a funked out set and brought the house down!!
24/7 were great – laura sang great and the sinners entertained with some 80′s (im turning japanesee!)
devious soul machine hit the stage – with a blinding set!
dan finished up with wrennie to quieten up the gig nicely

ste wren played all day and basically can take anything you chuck at him even a nice tight dress!! pure talent

great catching up with the lads – genuine good blokes – a present from above

good times – im still buzzing now – if only it could always be like this…..

well listening to beastie boys time to ill in the back and fixing up some computers and laptops

great weekend in marbella – loved every minute

anyway good work in marbella
got all the work done – plenty of siesta
nice touring in the boxter with the roof down
i loved the power of the porshce on the open roads ….
johns villa was amazing – lovely to stay on the golden mile
the pool and the scenery was amazing
some great acts to watch out aswell!!
on thee work side – just struck some big deals again!
one of my clients mailed me to thank me for the optimisation and said they was so happy to be at the top – while others drop out … what can i do?…..
well the plans in action – time to leave …

well got a good day booked up 2morro and got a meeting with the bank to sort out my ISA accounts

Still busy as hell! Thought I’d try a blog on the iPhone while taking a crap! Things have quietend down with work for a few days so been spending some time getting the new iPhone 3gs setup don’t you just love a new phone number!! Lovely phone faster than the 3g anyway
Looking forward to weekend my dads taking me to liverpool for my birthday which should be good for us both will cheer him up he has had some hard times lately and the family stuff has got him down again which isn’t fair
So a good few beers and the crack should get h back to normal….
Playing over the weekend and I’m playing bass and singing which I haven’t don’t for a couple of month should be good!! I’m not taking the status I’m preparing to swap this for an alembic so I’m not getting Attached!!
Just looking round at new means of transport to move the caravan around now we have the nice weather / we hVe found some great sites for us to get away which I’m so looking forward too… We are looking around again at new places to live as we Are getting to the point when the kids are going to leave home soon / so yes we Re going for the country house like we should have 6 or seven years ago! We won’t be sad to leave old Lancaster behind I’ll tell you
I’ll still play with my dad in the duo as it’s top notch!
Plus I’ve got good news for the new band! I have found a drummer is A1 top notch / very tight drummer intact rock solid top of the range D W kit and he can sing!! So just a guitarist now and a singer / no rush we need the best in town…. Watch this space
So all is good / intact it’s never been better

been looking at some smaller amps (not selling mine!) just for jams – i was thinking mark bass its kinda hard using something else than my trace elliot but I wouldnt use something like a 50/80 watt trace or even dare i even say it a blx?! ha na – the mark bass 2×10 looks up to my standards..
going to try one this week as im thinking of upgrading the status to yes another alembic
im looing blonde front MK model or something like that!! ive got a couple of sessions coming up were the 2×10 and alembic will cut it nicely for the old funkster…
