talking to one of my mates today and he informed me i was missing parts from my blog!! from the trimple club and being ejected – ok the truth is only told on here – yes we spat beer – yes we heckled at the bands and acts that were crap yes we tried to grab andee’s mic stand while she sang – yes i spilt beer and tripped on the thugs foot – and yes i was going to get a beating for it!! but hey like i said why put natural thing on at 2.30? why give us free beer then eject us for it? why batter a guy who is pissed up?

if you want msn on your ichat it dont work out of the box so take a look here – its a bit of messing around but worth it
I noticed on the part were you enter your username if i put the njs.netlab.cz on the end it failed so i just entered my desired username and that worked!!

ive been using quamana for a while now for blogging it cuts it but doesnt look good as its a java proggie :-O
so im just testing blogo which is native mac program so looks cool – nice easy interface ill let you know how it pans out over the week

Just moved over to phoca for my joomla web gallery – i was using easy gallery but its been taken offline for going against the gpl apparantley?… anyway installed nice and easy but wouldnt create directories and upload pictures properly so i poked at some forums and found enabling ftp on the joomla fixes it – so I enabbled this and it fixed it !! went back to my site to be presented by a blank screen?? for some reason something generated a index.hml in the root of my website!! so i just renamed that to index.php and its fine???… some strange happenings but the gallery is awsome

Friday – ill ring the shovel in warton to see if we are still booked… hi im a new landlord ive been in for two days now and I know there is a band on but dont know who they are ? how much im paying them blah frikin blah … so ok im not turning up to this and playing to a empty pub and getting ripped off – also some 7 foot straw sucking thug wants to kill me and our jimmy !! you know the usual im 7 foot so ill pick on the 5 foot guy thats how hard I really am!! So thats friday out of the window!
Saturday – turns up to the bath hotel for a gig not organsed by me!… to play on the roof – so after asking maybe five people what time we are on we find out we are on after the band currently playing which were crap to say the least.(not a bad guitarist) so we get the axes out of the van and wait for our turn…. the band finish and down starts coming the gear ? some guy who needed a wash and was bloody ignorant just said naaa you cant use this gear its crap? I was like mmmmm? i explained its quarter to four and you want us to lug our amps and drums up to do a half hour spot to nobody and we have to set this gear of ours at five at the strathmore.. nope cant be done so we just said we aint doing it… I asked the guy who kind of seemed to know something I think if we should come back later and do a spot downstairs – he says yer! we have a band pulled out so do eleven till half eleven! which we called at 10.30 from another gig which we was going to leave for half hour to do this slot for charity and he says no dude we fillled it now!! i was like what a knob.
Saturday day - Picked the gear up from the morecambe hotel which I left there months ago and basically this gear just doesnt belong to me so its like not mine to lend out! They didnt seen right happy i was taking it and thought i had spat my dummy out because they were going to sub-let it out – which i wasnt pissed off about but would you be???…. anyway i gave it the band back which to be honest caused me loads of greif – would have been nice to get a thanks for lending it in the first place! Never ever ever ever ask me to lend gear again anybody. Unless its a hire.
Saturday evening – set the gear up in the strathmore for a wedding and left equipment available for background music if required.. Got to the gig to loads of kids going mental which I dont mind but the only problem is they had turned every knob on the equipment and kicked the bass drum skin through!!! aggggghhhh – So i managed to fix the skin which i got loads of ear ache of the drummer because they are like fifty quid to replace so he wasnt happy! I then moved on to fix the sound as it was just look a total rebuild on three 24 graphic EQ’s and a compressor which is just a frikin nightmare!! Not a bad gig though always a tad slow to get a wedding going then we cant get off when its the second spot!! We got told to turn down once which I didnt do how dare they?! The night finished up with some music on the decks some old hip hop and s express? all cool if your into that! Fair enough they let us leave the gear to pick up the next day!!! Cant remember seeing the bride and groom after the first dance!!! they probablty got started on the dirty deed early!!! ha ha all good stuff! Seem to remember the band getting pretty trashed and i was feeling not so trashed and pretty pissed of running round sorting stuff out but thats nothing new 13 years on…
Sunday Lunch - Last gig of the weekend and again I didnt organise this so we had to pop in to get the band order as we could have been on day or night who bloody knows!!! mad. Any way we are told we are opening it up! This is a family gig and we are on at like 2.30 natural thing? the who – rock music nice for all the kids running around mmmm?? who organised this gig?? durr! I didnt bring in my gear and was suprised by the little amp which looked like a practicse amp compared to the marshall stacks the guitarists got! We got a nice wrist band and two beer tokens and plenty of free cans in the band VIP area. We had the strangest sound check ever were we checked the vocals and had problems getting the monitors sounding ok.. then something odd? right lads play a song im like is this a sound check?? mmm very very odd what about the instruments?? oh well ! Went on at half two played very well although again the seeker and 2 year old kids pegging about just dont mix ! would you let your brat run around in front a few K worth of power what about there little ear drums!!! Not a bad set! Came of and andys kenyan band went on which were pretty cool all original stuff which again seemed odd for 3 and four year old kids and familys!! anyway we carried on getting wasted on the free beer and then it happend the worlds worst act dressed as the blues brothers – these guys were a joke bllody awful – couldnt sing – feedback – cd’s skipping – boooooed and heccled! awful! Popped into see dan in the back room and he was wasted!!! ha ha! still i was frikin cross eyed!! ha ha ha!! Thankfully andee and mark came on to save the day !! aswome vocals nice and tight we went to the side of the stage to wind them up and got ejected from the building! Its been a while since we got ejected ha ha apparntly some old guy wanted a scrap with us – another inteligent thug who wants trouble in front of the kids – what a nougat. All I can say is people who cant organise events shouldnt organise them The whole weekend i just seemed to be surrounded by people who just dont have a clue? Anyway I went home for a hour before I was going to the bobstock and woke up at twelve at night so missed the bobstock which im so pisssed of about at least there would have been good musid – good acts – no old geezers wanting to scrap – no kids – and not getting chucked out for having a laugh !
Will i do another charity gig? NO
Will i play on the same bill as shit acts again? NO
Will i use another sound techie? and someone elses gear again ? NO
My energy must now go into revival its soo easy
