Ive uploaded my acpi directory to my donloads folder for the asus 701 Eee. I made a slight mod to it to make the machine sleep when you close the lid!! I use kde 3.5.9 with kpowersave and it works great

If you get into your etc directory and as root
mv acpi acpi.bak
and then
tar xvzf acpi.tar.gz
either restart the asus or
/etc/init.d/acpid restart
Bingo!!
If you are running kde 3.5.9 on top of debian lenny sid you may have noticed all your proggies will be in kde 3.5.9 style and your ktorrent is kde 4 style!!! Well i jut thought apt-get -t stable ktorrent
would have got me the right version down to match kde 3.5.9
Nope its apt-get install ktorrent-2.2
Im not digging kde4 at all sometimes bells and whistles aint were its at!!

A new reissue 70′s strat is £1300 or £1300 for a vintage used 70′s strat!!

So ive decided ill buy a used 80′s jaydee and a used 70′s strat
Which should = £2300

Ive managed to get the lancaster linux user group back on track again!

Did morecambe hotel saturday last night
Bloody good turn out!! She defo has sorted the place out
I played around three months ago with natural thing and it was quite dead
3 months later she has it booming!! and the place does food at good prices!!
We went on at 8.45 and finished up around 11.45

Had two miserable buggers in one was a old fart of a man so i told him to cheer up over the mic and asked someone to buy him a tequila!!!
The other was some spoilt young girl who wasn’t open minded to music and just wanted bloody green day!!! Kids nowadays ey!!!!

Epiphone Triggerman 60DSP 60W Solid State Combo
I bought this combo for around £200 quid from promenade music in morecambe, After reading good reviews – like 10 out of 10 !!
One guy moaned and said it was bassy! but ive got it paired up with a thinline telecaster and it cuts through nicely!
It has a footswitch socket but doesn’t come supplied with a footswitch
I had a old witch kicking about so i just used that no problem!
It has chorus / flanger / delay dsp effects which are pretty darn good
and the reverb is spot on !!
The distortion channel can sound muddy if you go over board i just have a slight overdrive like and its pretty darn good!
If you want a nice cheap loud retro looking amp then buy a triggerman
Well worth the brass!
